Danio - Gold Giant Danio

The Gold Giant Danio (Devario aequipinnatus var.) is a large, fast-moving schooling fish with a shimmering golden-yellow body and blue-silver lateral striping. At M/L size these are well-grown specimens showing strong color. Grows to around 4-5 inches - larger than most danio species - and brings an energetic, active presence to mid-to-upper tank levels. Best kept in groups of 5+ in 30+ gallon aquariums with plenty of open swimming space. Extremely hardy and ideal for active community setups.
