The Tiger Barb (Puntigrus tetrazona) is one of the most popular freshwater aquarium fish in the world. Bold amber-gold body with four dramatic black vertical bars, bright red nose and fins, and an energetic, shoaling temperament make them endlessly entertaining. At XL size these are fully grown specimens ready to display. Best kept in groups of 8+ to moderate fin-nipping tendencies. Compatible with robust short-finned tankmates in planted community aquariums. Water temp 74-79F, pH 6.5-7.5.
