Platy - Sunset Variatus

The Sunset Variatus Platy (Xiphophorus variatus) is a naturally occurring and selectively bred species displaying a beautiful gradient of orange, yellow, and red tones evocative of a sunset sky. One of the most prolific and easy-to-breed livebearers in the hobby. Tolerant of cooler water than most tropical fish (65-78F), making it unusually adaptable - great for unheated aquariums in warm climates. Peaceful, compatible with virtually everything.
