The Zebrina Pike Cichlid (Crenicichla zebrina) is one of the most spectacular and sought-after pike cichlids in the world - a true trophy fish for the serious South American cichlid collector. From Venezuela's Ventuari and Orinoco rivers, C. zebrina displays a stunning pattern of bold black vertical bars over a silver-white body, with vivid red-orange accents on the fins of mature fish. Rarely available in the U.S. hobby. Grows to 18-20 inches. Highly predatory and aggressive - dedicated single-specimen or pair housing in 180+ gallon aquariums. Carnivorous diet.
