The Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) is one of the most iconic freshwater fish in the hobby - instantly recognizable by its tall, disc-shaped body and long, flowing fins. This assortment includes a mix of popular varieties at SM/MD size, providing a range of patterns and colorations for community and South American biotope tanks. A classic cichlid that is peaceful enough for larger community setups; avoid housing with very small fish or aggressive fin-nippers. Prefers a tall aquarium of 30+ gallons with driftwood, tall plants, and low to moderate flow. Feed quality flake, micro pellets, frozen bloodworms, and brine shrimp. Water temp 76-84F, pH 6.0-7.5.
